Senior software engineer. Eleven years shipping.
I'm a senior software engineer based in San José, Costa Rica, working with teams across the US, Europe, and Latin America. I started writing production code in 2015 and have spent most of the last decade either shipping full-stack applications end to end or leading the engineers who do.
I work across the whole stack — back-end systems in .NET Core 8 and Node.js, front-end in Next.js, Angular, and React, mobile in React Native, and AI features woven through the workflow via prompt engineering and tooling I built for the team. I hold a Google AI Professional Certificate (August 2026).
For every application I build, I can also host it — on cost-predictable self-managed infrastructure instead of AWS, GCP, or Azure. The stack is Coolify on a VPS, Postgres or MySQL on Neon, open-source monitoring, and transactional email via Resend or SendGrid. Flat monthly invoice, no billing surprises.
I write code. I review code. I lead architecture reviews. I sit in standups. Whatever the engagement needs.
