Terms of service
Last updated: September 2026.
Site use
This site is provided as-is. Content is informational; nothing here constitutes a binding offer of services. Engagement terms are agreed separately in a written statement of work.
Intellectual property
The site's text, design, and source code are mine unless noted otherwise. Case studies describe real engagements; client names are anonymized where the work is under NDA. You may link to and quote from case studies with attribution.
Website plans
Draft for review; not legal advice.
- Initial term. Each Website plan starts with a 12-month initial term. If you end the plan during the initial term, the remaining months of that term are still payable.
- After the initial term. The plan continues month-to-month.
- Annual billing. Annual billing is the initial term paid upfront, at a discounted rate.
- Domain. Your domain is registered in your name. Renewal is included only for standard TLDs (.com, .net, .org); other TLDs are renewed at your cost.
- At exit. You keep your content and the domain can be transferred to another registrar or provider. The site's source code is handed over once the initial term is complete.
- Maintenance. Monthly allowances (change requests or hours, depending on plan) do not carry over, and work beyond them is quoted.
No warranty
The site is provided without warranty of any kind. I try to keep it accurate and available, but I make no guarantees.
Governing law
Engagements are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction agreed in the statement of work. Disputes are resolved per the dispute resolution clause in the SOW.
